Aesthetic nose surgery, also called rhinoplasty, can improve the shape, size and overall appearance of the nose. The goal of rhinoplasty is to achieve a natural looking nose that matches the patient’s facial features. This surgery may be only aesthetic or be associated with functional corrections such as deviated septum or turbinate hypertrophy.
The surgery is planned according to the complaints of, and imperfections presented by each patient, and there is no single formula. These imperfections can range from a simple removal of the bony protrusion from the nasal dorsum to the thinning and elevation of the nasal tip or the reduction of nasal wings. Results are already evident in the first few days, but we consider results to be definitive after 6 months.
